We just received another approval today on a GMAC short sale.  They also agreed to postpone the trustees sale date for 2 months to allow for completion of the short sale closing. 

Most banks will postpone the trustees sale date as long as they are in reciept of a completed short sale package which includes a market value offer, HUD or closing statement from title and all the other required financial information on the seller.
